Medicines Research and Access Platform (MedRAP) is a Zambia-based public health organisation working in health systems strengthening, implementation research, access to medicines, and policy advocacy. MedRAP has implemented projects across multiple provinces in Zambia and has experience in community engagement, healthcare worker capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, and evidence generation. The organisation has previously supported snakebite awareness, prevention, first aid education.

Sagun Paudel is a public health professional, health policy researcher, institution builder, and patient advocate with expertise in health policy, health systems strengthening, monitoring and evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-informed decision-making. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Master of Science in Health Policy, Planning and Financing (HPPF). Sagun is the Founder and President of Nepal Public Health Institute.

Apharmacist and early-career researcher from Malawi with an interest in toxicogenomics and snakebite envenoming research. My focus is on understanding venom toxicity, molecular host responses, and genetic factors that affect treatment outcomes. I am interested in using genomics to improve diagnosis, antivenom effectiveness, and patient recovery, especially in low-resource settings where snakebite remains a neglected health challenge, and to support stronger evidence-based snakebite care systems.

Nurudeen Dahiru Abubakar leads Partnerships and Grants at Sproxil Nigeria Limited, a NAFDAC-accredited GS1 solution provider. Sproxil has issued 4.5 billion verification codes, operates 8,000+ PPMV outlets, and runs GS1 Mobile Authentication Service and traceability at the importer level for pharmaceutical supply chains. He is exploring extending this to antivenom counterfeit detection in high-burden Nigerian states, and seeks a toxinology partner for frontline snakebite expertise.

The Department of Tropical Medicine at UNIKIN is a leading research hub in the DRC, running trials and field studies on malaria, Ebola, mpox, and other neglected tropical diseases. Ali Moro is an Assistant Lecturer at University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), Ghana. He is a PhD candidate in Environmental Epidemiology at Utrecht University. His work focuses on implementation research, health systems strengthening, community-based healthcare delivery, geospatial analysis, and population health surveillance.

We are a team composed of a public health medical doctor and an AI/ML Professor, along with our students from the Center for Pattern Recognition at PESIT in Bengaluru, India. Our research focuses on developing AI-based image-capturing techniques for identifying snakes, particularly regional and venomous species, a horizontal timeline of snakebite wounds, geographical healthcare access(antivenom availability), and tracking snake movement locations and animal rescue activities.
