I am a molecular biologist and toxinologist, and my research focuses on understanding snake venoms and developing biologics-based technologies to improve the diagnosis and treatment of snakebite envenoming. My work combines venom biology, toxin characterisation, and biologics discovery/design platforms to identify highly specific binders against medically important venom toxins.

Donald Samuel Koroma is a Public Health professional, researcher, and Monitoring and Evaluation specialist with over a decade of experience in public health systems strengthening, disease surveillance, emergency preparedness and response, health information systems, and implementation research in Sierra Leone. He currently serves at the National Public Health Agency (NPHA), where he supports strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation.

Professional Microbiologist and Quality Control Officer based in Karachi, Pakistan. Holding a BS in Microbiology, I have extensive experience in clinical and industrial laboratory methodologies, including antimicrobial resistance (AMR) tracking, molecular characterization, and food safety protocols. Passionate about public health awareness, and also infectious disease prevention. My expertise lies in diagnostic testing, quality assurance.

His work spans public health, implementation science, AI-enabled healthcare solutions, and software design. He is developing SnakeSAFE Zambia, a digital community-based snakebite response platform aimed at improving first aid, referral, and emergency care access in underserved communities. He is seeking collaborators and mentors to support implementation and scale-up.

Ramu Kharel is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Brown University and founder of Nepal’s first Poison Information Center. He is trained in tropical medicine (DTM&H/CTropMed) and has over 10 years of experience strengthening emergencycare systems in Nepal. His work focuses on community-centered emergency care, poisning and toxicology, and rural trauma systems.
