My PhD research focused on medically important cobra species in the Philippines, including Naja samarensis and Naja philippinensis, giving me a strong interest in improving snakebite outcomes in geographically dispersed and underserved communities.

I am a public health professional, epidemiologist, and lecturer with experience in infectious disease surveillance, outbreak investigation, emergency preparedness and response, and One Health. I work with Uganda’s Ministry of Health, where I contribute to epidemiological surveillance, outbreak investigations, data analysis, and responses to emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.
