Partnering with allies like CIINDER Kukoj in the Mixe region, we build rapid response networks for snakebite emergencies in indigenous areas. We engage traditional healers to co-design first-aid kits, visual guides, and triage protocols that speed up hospital transfers.

I am an epidemiologist with 20 years of experience in neglected tropical diseases, specializing in spatial methods, mathematically optimized health interventions, and human-centered design. Having led successful disease elimination programs for dog rabies and Chagas disease, I recently established a research lab in the Amazon dedicated to implementing and evaluating community-based solutions.
