SnakeHack: Delhi

This event features an analysis of snakebite challenges, an Innovation Prize briefing, and sessions on industry gaps. It also includes networking, mentorship, and a walkthrough of the application process.

The event opens with registration and welcome remarks, followed by an in-depth analysis of the snakebite burden in Delhi and a briefing on the Wellcome Snakebite Innovation Prize by key stakeholders.

The program progresses through sessions on innovation opportunities, current industry gaps, and startup solutions, facilitated by structured networking and mentor interactions.

The day concludes with a practical walkthrough of the application process—covering rules, expectations, and templates—ending with a final Q&A and a closing networking session to foster collaboration between startups, experts, and partners.

Challenge prizes support open innovation for established innovators and those who are new to the field, enabling the most promising ideas to progress with funding and expert capacity-building support. We especially welcome those closest to the problem—rural health workers and community leaders—who are already finding ways to respond but need support to scale their novel and practical approaches.

We welcome startups, researchers, healthcare professionals, people with lived experience of snakebite, innovators, students, NGOs, industry experts, and organizations working in healthcare, med-tech, digital health, AI, logistics, emergency response, public health, and related sectors.
