Gerard Martin, a Co-founding Trustee of The Liana Trust. Gerard has 30 years of reptile conservation and research experience, is a renowned global expert in herpetological research and conservation. He specialises in snakebite management and spearheads pioneering efforts in human-snake conflict mitigation in the country.
Avinash Visvanathan, General Secretary of Friends of Snakes Society. Avinash is a wildlife conservationist, researcher, and key figure in reptile protection. At the Friends of Snakes Society (FOSS), a non-profit organisation, he is dedicated to mitigating human-snake conflict, leads large-scale rescue operations, research initiatives, and public educational campaigns across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
